Avocado Paratha Recipe


Ingredients:

2 Avocados
4-5 Garlic Cloves (grated)
4-5 Green Chilly (grated)
Coriander powder
Cumin Seed Powder
Bishop Seeds (Ajwain)
Lemon Juice
Salt


Preparation:

  1. Peel the avocado and take out the pulp
  2. Add cumin powder, salt, green chili, garlic, ajwain/carom seeds, lemon juice to the avocado pulp. Mix till thoroughly combined
  3. Add whole wheat flour into the avocado mixture.
  4. Make to a smooth dough without adding water.
  5. Sprinkle some oil on top to coat the mixture ball. Cover and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Roll the paratha using a rolling pin, cook it crispy.
  7. Serve hot with curd, pickle or some chutney.

Instant Besan, Coconut Barfi

Ingredients:

1 cup gram flour (besan flour)
1 cup grated dry coconut
1 cup sugar
1 cup clarified butter (ghee)
1 cup milk

Preparation :

  1. Add all 5 ingredients into a pan (nonstick)
  2. Keep that mixture for 30 mints
  3. Then put the pan on a gas with very slow fame saute it frequently.
  4. It will take 30 mins to cook
  5. Take out into the plate and garnish with dry fruits.

Semolina Jaggery Sheera

Required Ingredients:

1 Cup Rava (Semolina)
1 Cup Jaggery
2.5 Cup Water
4-5 Cardamom Powder
Roasted Dry Fruits (Almond, Cashews, Raisins etc. according to your choice)

How to make jaggery water:

In water add jaggery and let the jaggery melt. Then add cardamom powder.

Preparation:

  1. Roast the semolina in ghee (Clarified Butter) for 10 mints till it turn to brown.
  2. Then add warm jaggery water and cover the pan with lid, Let it cook for 5 mints
  3. Add dry fruits and serve it.

Black Beans Curry

Required Ingredients:

1/2 cups of dried black beans
2-3 tablespoons of oil
8-10 cloves of garlic
2 onions
7-8 coconut slices
6-7 curry leaves
3-4 spoon coriander
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons salt or to taste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon black masala
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon turmeric

How to make MASALA:

Roast onion and coconut 
Grind roasted onion and coconut as well garlic and coriander together
Preparation:      
  1. Cook the beans in a pressure cooker for three whistles.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan add curry leaves and cumin seeds, let it crack well.
  3. Then add paste of onion, coconut, and cilantro, garlic into it.
  4. Let it cook till it leaves oil.
  5. Then add red chilly powder, black masala, Coriander powder, garam masala turmeric into it
  6. Now add the cooked beans and bring it to a nice boil and simmer for 15 minutes till all the flavors get well combined.
